L'artiste m&eacute;ticuleux s'est fait un nom en utilisant l'artisanat traditionnel de la sculpture sur fruits tha&iuml;landaise. Mais il se sp&eacute;cialise &eacute;galement dans la technique japonaise connue sous le nom de <i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">mukimono<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, qui consiste &agrave; sculpter des images dans la peau des fruits et l&eacute;gumes ou &agrave; les fa&ccedil;onner en des formes &eacute;labor&eacute;es. Alors qu'il dirige souvent son couteau de pr&eacute;cision vers les fruits, l'artiste a r&eacute;cemment int&eacute;gr&eacute; plus de l&eacute;gumes dans son art. Et r&eacute;cemment, une sculpture d&eacute;taill&eacute;e d'un poisson fait d'une tige duveteuse de brocoli a pris d'assaut Internet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Le poisson brocoli, qu'il a fallu environ trois heures &agrave; l'artiste pour sculpter, semble &ecirc;tre &agrave; mi-chemin de son habitat aquatique. Chacune de ses &eacute;cailles individuelles est cisel&eacute;e en d&eacute;tail, et l'image est m&ecirc;me compl&egrave;te avec un &oelig;il de poisson vert brillant. Gaku a m&eacute;ticuleusement fa&ccedil;onn&eacute; sa nageoire caudale &agrave; partir de la t&ecirc;te de la tige de brocoli, rasant les fleurons jusqu'&agrave; leur centre lisse pour imiter l'appendice aquatique fluide. L'artiste a m&ecirc;me laiss&eacute; sur certains des bourgeons aux extr&eacute;mit&eacute;s pour donner l'effet visuel d'une &eacute;claboussure alors que le poisson saute hors de l'eau.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bien qu'il s'agisse de l'une des cr&eacute;ations les plus r&eacute;centes de Gaku, l'artiste poss&egrave;de un r&eacute;pertoire apparemment infini de sculptures de fruits et l&eacute;gumes qui sont tout aussi impressionnantes.
